He is the former Director of Maintenance and Restoration at the famous Champlin Fighter Museum in Mesa Arizona. In addition to his skills as a restoration specialists John is a gift pilot who has had the privilege to fly most of the World War Two fighters. John's interest in warbirds stems from his dad John Lane Sr. who was a six victory P-38 ace in the Southwest Pacific during World War Two.
