Jesse Bennett has been flying since he was 13 years old. Now, at 27, he is a Commercial Pilot in helicopters and fixed wing aircraft as well as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic. He has flown everything from Stearmans and Tiger Moths to Cessna Citations and Eurocopter A-Stars. He has also owned several aircraft including a 1947 Ercoupe, a 1964 Piper Cherokee, a 1975 Cessna 150, a 1946 Taylorcraft, and a 1978 Cessna 152. In his career as an aircraft craftsman, he has built a 1927 Stinson "Detroiter", Fokker D.VII, Nieuport 11, Nieuport 17, and restored a Sopwith Tri-plane and a Nieuport 24. As a mechanic he has maintained the Goodyear FG-1D Corsair, Grumman TBM-3E Avenger, DeHavilland Tiger Moth, Boeing Stearman, DeHavilland Vampire, Howard DGA-15P and many other aircraft both vintage and modern.
